My Story
Of the many things I've done on my 350 acre wildlife sanctuary, planting trees was
a huge component. I spent a lot of money and time to plant more than 2,000 crabapple,
plum, cherry and pine saplings in the Spring. The trees flourished beautifully,
but when they grew beyond the height of their protective tubes, the deer started
nipping them off. Something had to be done, and Deer Guard was the answer.
I even tested the effectiveness of Deer Guard by leaving some of the trees untreated.
The results were amazing.
Believe me, I had tried other deer repellents, including the "leader"
that uses rotten eggs. Nothing else worked, because they're all scent-based formulas.
The deer quickly get accustomed to the scent, no matter how bad it is, and resume
foraging.
But because Deer Guard is taste-based it stops the browsing cold. Plus it doesn't
kick out an odor that smells nasty to us humans. That's a huge plus.
I want to have a lot of healthy deer roaming everywhere on my property. I just don't
want them to eat certain things, like my trees and flowers. With Deer Guard, I can
protect my investment and my family can still enjoy wildlife viewing.
